Chloe Grace Moretz to Star in TV Adaptation on New True Crime Podcast 'My Mom's Murder'

Chloe Grace Moretz has lined up a new starring role!

The 27-year-old actress will lead a TV adaptation of the new true crime podcast, My Mom’s Killer.

News of her casting comes as the podcast, which tells the story of a woman learning that her mom was murdered when she was a child, premieres on Audible on Thursday (October 10).

Deadline confirmed that Chloe had joined the show from MGM Television. She will seemingly play the podcast’s host Lauren Malloy.

She will also act as an executive producer.

Here’s a synopsis from the outlet: “When Malloy was just an infant, her mother passed away and had grown up believing her passing was natural. When she discovers that her mother’s death was actually an unsolved murder, she sets out on a journey to discover the truth.”
