Sophie Turner Reveals What it Would Take for Her to Return to 'Game of Thrones,' Talks Her Divorce & Filming Her New Show 'Joan'

Sophie Turner opened up in a new interview with Variety, and we’ve got the highlights.

The 28-year-old actress is back to work promoting the release of her new show Joan, which is her first project in two years. She reflected on getting in front of the camera again after becoming a mom and how her “maternal ferocity” drew her to the project.

Joan is also the first project to come after her divorce from Joe Jonas. Sophie reflected on if the separation affected her at all on set and noted that there were some parallels between her personal life and what her character went through.

Five years after the finale of Game of Thrones, the actress also revealed if she’d be interested in returning to the world and reprising her role.

According to Sophie, there are some very specific requirements that would need to be met.

She also reflected on her role as Jean Grey in the X-Men movies. Will she ever revisit that character and were there talks to bring her on for a cameo in the summer blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine?
