Selena Gomez is opening up about reaching billionaire status.

The 32-year-old entertainer attended the New York City premiere of her movie Emilia Perez on Monday night (September 30) and was asked about the milestone while on the red carpet.

Selena was also spotted head to the premiere after party in a new outfit, as seen in the photos here.

Earlier this year, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index reported that Selena has a net worth of $1.3 billion, mostly thanks to the success of her beauty brand Rare Beauty.

“I’m very grateful,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I personally think it’s distasteful to talk about money, but I really am giving all the credit to people who buy the products. They’re the ones that made this dream of mine come true, so I’m really, really honored and just happy.”

Selena has been open in the past about not focusing on the money she makes from Rare Beauty.

“I have this weird thing in my head where if I focus on the numbers, I’ll lose whatever it is that made Rare Beauty Rare Beauty,” she told Time. “I never wanted it to be about making a lot of money and that’s it.”
